These are men that don’t leave a pack, team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.

L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.

With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels.

When all she wants is to be with her family and friends and create things that make people's lives earlier. Mitch maintains her positive out look. The Baxter family has three new additions. Her friends are starting their own families, and she couldn't be happier. Looking foreword to the next book.

I just finished all three parts of The Baxters...I must say the author blew my mind totally (in a good way). For a novice writer, the series was incredibly well done and so much fun to read! I enjoyed the time I spent with the Baxter family and all their friends! Polyandry is not an easy subject to write about and definitely not to every reader's taste, but the author wrote it beautifully and with sensitivity. I am so pleased that I took a chance on this series and look forward with great anticipation to reading other stories that she has written! Thank you for the books, it was a great pleasure!

The story builds on all the great things we saw in the first book and makes you want to keep these characters around. As we meet more of the people in Mitch's world we become more vested in their story too. Great book!

This is my third time through the series. I live them or I wouldn't reread them. But the jumps in storyline mess me up. I realize a year has gone by, but major stuff happened. Mechanical fingers, IT programming etc. The stories are so detailed, that missing that info is frustrating.

The robotics division where Mitch created prosthetic inventions which help people live better lives. Their family life with the kids Jess, Jared, Kaleb, Will, Dallas and Dillon. And of course their fabulous sex life. All Mitch wants is a peaceful happy life but problems with crazy, jealous, and greedy people keep popping up.

On one hand, I want to give this author a scathing review; on the other hand, I want to give praise. The problem is, I can't think of one bit of praise to give. Whatever keeps me riveted is not obvious enough to be iterated. I keep reading the books and they hook me. At the same time, the character traits are unbelievable. The books are boring, say nothing of value, are mostly long, minutely described sex scenes [of ALL varieties] and minutely described everyday chatter and activity in a family, including cooking, cleaning, bathing and so on. Because of illiteracy issues. they are almost incomprehensible. So many pronouns that one must continuously go back [sometimes several pages] in order to ascertain who is speaking or being spoken to. Sigh!

This is part 2 of The Baxters. Please read She Found Us first as it is a continuation. Most of the cast of characters are there along with some new ones. Mitch has gone through so much in her life so far. Jaimie and Kevin are still trying to keep her safe. All of their friends and family are just amazing. It saddens me when they have people that they trusted betrayed them. If you liked Book 1, I know you will love this one.

I first started by reading MC: Knight and then realised that I wanted the whole story and that started with the Baxter's .. although the first books didn't have a lot of crossovers they did set the scene for what is to come in the other books as the stories move along so their importance to the series' as a whole cannot be overstated

I have just read the 22 books to date back to back in the order published on the author's website and decided to review them as a whole. I really don't think they stand well as stand alones as there are too many common threads, too much history and too much character crossover for that so it really is one (very) long story over a very long period of time with each series concentrating on a particular character group but including all of the others (except for the initial Baxter books which didn't have a lot of MC action but did set the scene for a lot of what is to come).

I loved every book although of course some more than others but i am giving an overall five star rating. My biggest issue was that sometimes (often) i found it difficult to be sure exactly who was talking and had to reread sections to try to work it out. I think that perhaps what the author is seeing in her head moves a bit too fast to translate well to the written word for some of us (something like the thoughts of some of her characters - you need to read the stories to understand my thought process here!!)

My other issue was keeping my head straight with the cast of thousands (and this is not an exaggeration) ... with each story building on to what has come before and what will come to be and with most characters continuing to play a place in each consecutive story I found myself constantly stopping to think - now who was that, whose child is that, whose partner is that???? but even amongst that confusion I loved the relationships and the strengths they provided.

The author has an amazing imagination and has brought to the table a fantastic story that i will continue to read and at some point will def read again. I have always loved and had an interest in native american philosophy and also in paranormal and psychic connections and love the way these are ingrained into the books as the stories unfold.

Although there were some things that caused me slight annoyances I cannot deny that as a whole this fits as one of the best series i have enjoyed. my thanks to the author for providing such a thoroughly engaging tale

I love this series and can't wait to read more books The story is heart wrenching. I love Mitch/Kevin and Jamie and little Jess is sooo cute. would recommend these books. However the only thing which I find a bit annoying is the constant "YAY" - "I love you" in a matter of minutes and "Your too much Mitch" and think when reading these you will see what I mean. Of course I let these all go but just find all too much keep saying them. I love everything else and as I say would recommend alllllll the books.
